Armor VFX and final in-engine appearance

Visual effects are presented as an important part of how armor will read in Scars of Honor. The preview argues that armor is not defined only by sculpted form, but also by the effects layered onto it, which can significantly change the overall impression of a character's outfit.

Role of VFX in armor presentation

The segment places particular emphasis on VFX as a major contributor to armor appeal. Effects applied on top of an armor set are described as changing the entire vibe of the character wearing it. This suggests that the final presentation of gear is expected to combine model, texture, and effects rather than relying on geometry alone.

Difference between sculpt previews and final assets

Several of the shown armors are lit only within ZBrush and remain untextured. Because of that, the preview stresses that these pieces should not be taken as their final visual quality.

The expected final result is described as better once the armor is textured and brought into the game engine. In other words, the concept sculpts communicate form and direction, while the complete in-game look depends on later rendering, materials, and visual effects.

Intended feel of armor in Scars of Honor

Even in unfinished form, the concepts are presented as indicators of how armor is meant to feel in Scars of Honor. The combination of stronger volume, class-themed silhouettes, and eventual VFX support points toward a more stylized and expressive equipment presentation than a flat texture-based approach.
