PC-first release focus and mobile cross-platform plans

Scars of Honor is described as a primarily PC-focused MMORPG with a planned mobile client for cross-platform play.

PC as the main platform

The recording repeatedly states that the game's main focus is PC. Public tests before release are expected to remain centered on the PC version, and the next major test is not expected to include mobile access.

This PC-first approach is framed as a matter of development priority: the team wants the core game systems to be fun, stable, and optimized before expanding public-facing testing to other platforms.

Mobile client plans

Alongside the PC version, the game is said to have an additional mobile client intended to support cross-platform play. Internal mobile tests are described as already underway and progressing well.

Even so, the mobile version is treated as the second part of the development puzzle rather than the immediate focus. The stream does not commit to a public mobile test before release.

Cross-platform implications for art direction

The planned mobile client is also cited as one reason for the game's stylized art direction. A stylized presentation is considered more practical for mobile hardware than a realistic visual target, while also helping performance and player density on PC.
